Shamarian Smith-Love

Shamarian Smith-Love is a Christian evangelist, author, and founder of We Seal This Prayer By Faith, an intercessory prayer ministry encouraging women to pray using scriptures from God’s Holy Word. She is the visionary behind the Agape Living Empowerment Initiative, an evangelism ministry dedicated to sharing the redemptive message of Jesus Christ by providing scripture-based support that fosters spiritual growth and Kingdom building. Graciously guiding Christian wives to earnestly pray for their husbands on her scripture-based prayer podcast, Edify and Overcome, Shamarian inspires women to prioritize their peace while diligently upholding their faith in Christ through the divine wisdom of The Holy Scriptures found in The Infallible Word of God.

Obedient to her calling to provide an exegesis of The Holy Scriptures, Shamarian prays that every Christian wife, called by God, will renew her purpose in The Kingdom by surrendering her marriage to the sanctifying grace of The Holy Spirit, committing to praising Jesus for blessing her covenant, bestowing peace in her heart for her husband, and restoring her joy in the favor of being chosen as his wife.

Anointed to convey an uncompromised interpretation of the Holy Scriptures, pliable to the context of our daily lives, Evangelist Dr. Shamarian Smith-Love, writing intermittently under the pseudonym Eshe Osei, has penned over 50 Biblical reference books in Jamaican Patois (Patwah), commonly referred to as Jamaican Creole (Krio), and American English.

Interspersed among Shamarian’s most beloved books are nationally bestselling Christian Devotionals, The Glory in Gethsemane, Prayer Goals, and Resilience, globally cherished Scripture Studies, Pray With God’s Words, The Holy Spirit Always Intercedes, and Ester’s Mantle, and her Marriage Intercessory Prayer Book, We Seal This Prayer By Faith, of which she hosts an accompanying Scripture-Based Prayer Podcast, Edify and Overcome, available on audio streaming platforms, radio broadcasting networks, and on demand content that further extends her calling to spread The Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Ester’s Mantle

Our church members thought my spiritual gift, according to 1 Corinthians 12, was to sing. But my Grandmother Ester knew it wasn’t the tool by which God would use me to help build the kingdom – God adorned me with the gift of prayer.

My anointing to pray showed up on a Sunday morning in 1987. I was supposed to lead Blessed Assurance in voice, but The Lord told me to speak the verse instead. So, I did. Apparently, I added scripture in my adlibs, because one of the Sunday School teachers told me she was proud that I weaved “The Word in with the song.” I don’t remember any of this because I was heavy in The Holy Spirit, but she talked about it for years, so I knew it to be so.

At that point, I kept singing because of course that’s what was expected of me. I had been singing since I stood up and said I wanted to join church and sing in the choir at the age of 6, so I kept on singing. One day, during choir rehearsal, my notes cracked. It was a surprise to the choir, but not to me. My Grandmother Ester had told me countless times that if I didn’t use my gift, God would take it from me. I knew I wasn’t supposed to be singing, I was called to pray. So, I asked our choir director if she would consider reassigning my solos and relegated my time at choir rehearsal to reading The Holy Scriptures.

Mind you, these weren’t scriptures I found on my own. My Grandmother Ester would call me frequently during the week and say, “Shay, The Lord put you on my mind and told me to give you these scriptures.” It’s important to note that the next time we talked I was expected to share those scriptures with her again in context with the events in my life. This was a standard in my church, we didn’t just quote The Holy Scriptures, we had to be able to verbalize what The Lord had discerned to us while reading The Scriptures. Therefore, I knew before my Grandmother Ester called me back, I best not only have the scriptural context intact with the chapters she gave me on that occasion, but I better also be able to weave it in with the other scriptures she told me before, all while retaining its relevance, and ensuring that the overall meaning of The Holy Scriptures weren’t compromised.

Well, I was still in elementary school, so I needed help. That’s when I called on Jesus. He told me to use His Words in my prayers. So, I flipped to the notes section in my Bible and wrote, “Lord Jesus, we seal this prayer by faith in Your Word in 1 Thess. 5:17, so that our daily prayers will align with Your Will in Mark 14:32.” Then I called my Grandmother Ester and read the prayer that God had given me to her. She said, “Shay, God is going to use you. Don’t let the devil trip you up, you understand me. I want you to promise me that when he starts with his foolishness, you shut him down with The Word of God every time. Promise me now.” “Yes ma’am,” I responded. And Praise Jesus, I’ve been doing exactly that ever since.

Agape Living Empowerment Initiative

At the Agape Living Empowerment Initiative, founded by Evangelist Dr. Shamarian Smith-Love, Salvation through Jesus Christ is the absolute foundational pillar and ultimate goal of the entire ministry.

Mission: Our mission statement explicitly mentions sharing the redemptive message of Jesus Christ. Redemption, in Christian theology, is synonymous with salvation.

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
— Ruoman (Romans) 10:10

Vision: Our ministry’s stated vision is to win souls to Christ. This directly refers to leading Christian Wives to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, thereby experiencing salvation.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ Our Lord.
— Ruoman (Romans) 6:23

Purpose: As an evangelism ministry, our primary purpose is to proclaim The Gospel, The Good News, of Jesus Christ, which is the message of how a woman can be saved from sin and have eternal life through faith in Him.

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
— Aks (Acts) 4:12

Christian Salvation: While we offer scripture-based support for growing spiritually as a Christian wife whose goal is to align her marriage with Kingdom values and Godly principles, these efforts are always built upon the initial act of salvation. A woman cannot truly grow spiritually in Christ without first having accepted Him.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
— Jan (John) 3:16

The Redemptive Message: The redemptive message is the explanation of how Jesus, through His crucifixion and resurrection, paid the price for humanity’s sins, offering forgiveness and eternal life to those who believe. This is the essence of salvation.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
— Ruoman (Romans) 10:9

At the Agape Living Empowerment Initiative, every prayer, podcast, written work, and outreach is devoted to encouraging Christian wives to embrace the fullness of salvation through Our Lord Jesus Christ. Through prayerful dependence on Adonai, we encourage Christian wives to seek His gift of Heavenly Discernment when reading The Holy Scriptures, revealing an anointed understanding of Our Risen Savior’s redemptive work, and glorifying Him for His blessings that He has bestowed upon the sacred covenant of our Christian marriages.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.
— Ifiijan (Ephesians) 2:8-9.

We Seal This Prayer By Faith is an exegesis of The Holy Scriptures, serving as a concordance of intercessory prayers for Christian wives, of which Evangelist Dr. Shamarian Smith-Love prays that every Christian wife called by God will renew her purpose in The Kingdom by surrendering her marriage to the sanctifying grace of The Holy Spirit, committing to praising Jesus for blessing her covenant, bestowing peace in her heart for her husband, and restoring her joy in the favor of being chosen as his wife.

Rooted in the sacred teachings of God’s Holy Word, The Resolve to Pray Using The Infallible Word of God serves as a comprehensive scriptural companion, celebrating the sacred journey of Christian matrimony. This divinely inspired guide offers hope, restoration, and heavenly wisdom for wives seeking to build a covenant on a foundation of Godly principles, as proclaimed in Proverbs 14:1 and ratified in 2 Timoti (Timothy) 3:16-17.

Selah: Christian Wives Praying for Exegetical Discernment of The Holy Scriptures serves as a scripture-based companion to We Seal This Prayer By Faith and The Resolve to Pray Using The Infallible Word of God, encouraging Christian wives to embrace prayerful introspection and flourish in our calling to love our husbands. Through Evangelist Dr. Shamarian Smith-Love’s reflective questions, we are gently guided to engage Scripture with Holy Spirit-led exegesis, uncovering Adonai’s design for love, respect, and service within our marriages.

In Consecrated: Holy Scriptures to Heal a Christian Widow’s Heart, Evangelist Dr. Shamarian Smith-Love reminds Christian widows that our reservoir of faith is found in The Infallible Word of God. Strong’s defines widow (אַלְמָנָה) as desolate palace, discarded, forsaken, yet fortified — a profound linguistic juxtaposition that mirrors our own spiritual state, once sullen and forlorn, now strengthened and Heavenly Bonded With Jesus Christ as proclaimed in Ifiijan (Ephesians) 1:13-14.

Edify and Overcome serves as the revered Christian scripture-based prayer podcast of the Agape Living Empowerment Initiative, graciously guided by Evangelist Dr. Shamarian Smith-Love, who inspires Christian wives to earnestly pray for their husbands, prioritize their peace of mind, and diligently uphold their faith in Christ through the divine wisdom of The Holy Scriptures found in The Infallible Word of God.
